Kim Stanley Robinson Honored

Kim Stanley Robinson, author of the Red Mars, Green Mars, Blue Mars series, was honored in Yahoo! Internet Life for his ability to "predict the future." "Even if science fiction writers don't claim to be latter-day Nostradamuses," Rob Bernstein and Gordan Bass write, "They're often uncannily accurate." Robinson's Mars series is the main reference for Red Colony.com, and a contributing factor in its existence. Yahoo Internet Life claims that Robinson predicted the Palm Pilot as well as decoding DNA and increasing life span, all major points in his Mars series. Although he and many other science fiction writers may have forseen the technology of today, Ray Bradbury put it best, "I don't try to predict the future. I try to prevent it."
