Project Goals

Terraforming and Colonization Projects

They are here to get Red Colony moving, and to make us the organization that we can be. The Project Leaders are responsible for keeping the projects in focus and scientifically relevent. Any deviation from this should result in the group member who is out of line to be told. If this does not stop the conduct, they should be removed from the group. This applies to Leaders and Members. The purpose of these groups is to compile current knowlege, as well as add to it. If new ideas, internal or external, cannot be validated, they should not be taken seriously. To keep them pointed in the correct direction, I have some goals I would like for them to accomplish:
  1. Collect and organize any article pertaining to the top of the Project
  2. Write articles to combine old and create new ideas
  3. Edit articles submitted by the community
  4. Create ways to successfully spread the information gathered
  5. Possibly, in the future, create a book detailing all of this information
By the end of the year (2006), I would like to see:
  1. Starting of the goals mentioned above, and progress made on them
  2. A complete brochure/pamphlet/flyer/presentation aimed at
    1. Business
    2. College Students
    3. High School Students
    4. Academia
    5. General Public
  3. A Teacher's Packet

Editors

The editors are here to make sure that Red Colony has only articles that are acceptable scientifically and grammatically. This will ensure that Red Colony does not present the image of apathy.
  1. Read over the older articles and check if they are acceptable scientifically and grammatically. They will report their findings to Jim and the Projects to fix what they cannot.
  2. Edit new articles from grammar and flow

Members

However, there are things that I ask all members of Red Colony to do:
  1. Contribute to discussions
  2. Contribute to the site (articles and ideas)
  3. Contribute news
  4. Spread the information. The Projects are going to be creating nice presentations; I want you to use them
